Holy Thursday

“I give you a new commandment: love one another; you must love one another just as I have loved you. It is by this love you have for one another that everyone will know that you are my disciples.”  John 13:14-15.
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may always see my glory which you have given me, because you loved me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24
“I have made your name known to them, and will continue to make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and so that I may be in them. John 17:26

  The blessing cup which we bless is a communion with the blood of Christ.
                                                 How can I repay the Lord
                                                 for his goodness to me?
                                                  The cup of salvation I will raise;
                                                 I will call on the Lord’s name.   Psalm 115.

   God our Father, we pray that in this Eucharist we may find the fullness of life and love. Amen
