Accion Agua
Accion Agua:  a group of young people in South America and the Carribean committed to develop strategies to preserve water.  In our parish we have 11 members and many supporters.  We are fortunate to have in our group the President and Director of Communications of Accion Agua, Mr Ricardo Castillo Hernandez.  Through him we are in direct contact with the Accion Agua network throughout Mexico, planting seeds of hope with youth in our parish.

“The deterioration of the environment and society affects the most  vulnerable on our planet.”  Pope Francis in Laudate Si

We have launched into action through Awareness Programmes, bringing into awareness how our ancestors took care of the earth, and inviting people to protect our environment so that it will be there for the next generation.
Transformation Seminars are empowering groups of youth and young adults.
Action to save water is adopted by all our Basic Christian Communities.
“Use Less Paper” is a big challenge, cutting back on paper plates, cups and serviettes at Fiestas is slowly catching on.
